Bang!

The Fukuoka International airport blows. Not only did it take 2 hours to get checked in and clear security, I also had to get pissed off at one guy in line. He tried to slither in front of me in line and was constantly pushing into me. Snapped.

<---This is the expressway in Bangkok.

Had a beer in line too. Damn that was good. Nothing like being a role model slamming a beer at 10:30 a.m.. I am an ambassador to my country, what can I say?

A student’s family showed up 15 minutes after me and they managed to get through customs at least 30 minutes before me. Apparently there were two lines; I chose the slowest one ever.

Managed to move seats on the plane and had two seats to myself. A Singha beer, a blood clot; life is good. 6 hours until Bangkok.

Arrived in Bangkok, got a taxi, and made it to hotel.

Funny how pictures can deceive; check out the link of my hotel.

... Well , my mom was amazed at the place I booked. Not that great. The music blasting outside is nice..

  1. Funny, I didn't have that problem at the airport.

And yes, the website for your hotel looked awesome! Strange that it wouldn't be exactly the same!

  3. Sorry, yes, guess I did fly out of the domestic terminal. My mistake. Hope your bus ride was ok.

  4. stayed a couple doors down one time for songkran...quieter than on the Khao San side. had the curious feeling that I was going to get robbed everytime I wandered home drunk at 4am.

    Have any banana pancakes yet?
